The Bucks Schools’ Cricket Association

The BSCA is affiliated to the English Schools’ Cricket Association (ESCA) and exists to promote cricket in all of Buckinghamshire’s schools. It organises competitions at a number of age groups, which can be entered by the county’s schools. These include County Cups for secondary age students, some of which feed into ESCA national competitions the following year. Equally importantly the Association organises tournaments aimed at schools who are developing their cricket offering. These tournaments give young players the opportunity to test themselves in a competitive setting against other schools, culminating in a finals day where schools come together to contest the Junior and Senior Trophies.

The Officers of the Association are:

  • Chairman: David Atkinson (Dr Challoner’s Grammar School)
  • Secretary: Simon Parbery(John Hampden Grammar School (
  • Treasurer: James Knott (Stowe School)
